Getting personal with our Man of the Month

D.O.L.L.S: If you could be any character in fiction, who would you be?

Tavaghn: I have been told that I would be Morpheus from the Matrix played by the great Lawrence Fishburn. Personally I always saw myself as a more controlled Quick from Harlem Nights played by Eddie Murphy.

D.O.L.L.S: What is the last book you read?

Tavaghn: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. This book is very empowering and it’s definitely recommended by me to you.

D.O.L.L.S: If you were a type of food, what type of food would you be?

Tavaghn: The type of food that makes the nearest mouth water. I don’t like limits.

D.O.L.L.S: How do you tackle stressful situations in your life?

Tavaghn: I’m a very optimistic individual. I will take any situation and only focus on the lessons that I need to learn from that situation. I feel that no matter what kind of situation is introduced to me, the way I handle it will determine its outcome.  As my mentor Stephanie Alva always says, “Miracles lie in adversity.”

Looking towards the future with our Man of the Month...

D.O.L.L.S: What dream are you currently pursuing?

Tavaghn: Greatness. Simple as that. I used to chase my dreams but nowadays I walk hand and hand with my dreams. I’ve been blessed to see the outcome of my life and the journey I need to take in order to make that outcome a reality. All I had to do is make the decision to pursue it. In that greatness my job is to help others reach their dream through the gifts that God has blessed me with in my life. Teamwork makes the dream work. We all need one another to “make it”.

D.O.L.L.S: What are the first steps you took to follow your dreams?

Tavaghn: Humbling myself. I had to make a change in order to see the change that I wanted to see. I had to commit myself to something bigger than me. I had to step up to the plate and stop running from my greatness, my calling & my purpose in life. A wise man once said that the 1st step on the journey of 10,000 steps is taking the 1st step. So I took that step and here I am.

D.O.L.L.S: What are some road blocks that you have come across?

Tavaghn: The biggest roadblock has been Tavaghn Monts. I denied this for a long time but I can admit today that I was my biggest roadblock. In terms of being lazy, doubting myself, and making bad decisions it was all on me. Not holding Tavaghn accountable for his actions was a roadblock. Once I understood this, my world changed.

D.O.L.L.S: Who are some individuals in your field you admire and would like to work with in the future?

Tavaghn: I would love to work with Tony Robbins, Martha Beck, and most definitely Will Smith. Many people do not know that Will Smith is big on the Law of Attraction and I find his perspectives on spirituality and motivation very intriguing and empowering.

D.O.L.L.S: Is there anything that you’d like our readers to learn from you?

Tavaghn: My prayer is that the readers learn the fact that we are all co-creators with God which means that we can create the lives we want and the only limits we have on our lives are the ones we imply on ourselves. I encourage and challenge you reading this interview to motivate your motivation and stop wasting time. We’re waiting on life when life is waiting on us to step up and claim what God as already ordained for us, our greatness.

D.O.L.L.S: What are your future career goals and aspirations? How are you progressing towards those goals?

Tavaghn: Now THIS is a loaded question. My career goal is to be relevant as a brand in everything that I do. My focus is being a certified life coach coaching millions around the world to their greatness. Another focus and passion of mine is the composing and production of music. If anything needs music behind it I can produce it. I aspire to make My Life Keys the premier motivational and life coaching company where we change lives every day in a positive way. The goal is to make this world a better place from the newborns to our elders who hold the keys to the past. I am currently in training to get my certification as a life coach for My Life Keys.

D.O.L.L.S: What motto do you live by?

Tavaghn: Failure is always an option; I just chose not to choose it. Watch me MontsterThat.

D.O.L.L.S: How do you stay motivated to accomplish your goals?

Tavaghn: I follow my M.A.P. (Meditation. Affirmations. Prayer.) I was praying one day and God told me to follow the M.A.P. that He made for me and as long as I follow this M.A.P. it will lead me to my greatness. Along with that I’m excited about life. The truth is someone didn’t wake up this morning,  and every day that God blesses me to wake up I have another chance to continue to change just one life and empower them to their greatness.

D.O.L.L.S: What can we look forward to from you in the future?

Tavaghn: You can look forward to seeing what I have said in this interview come to pass. Thank you 3 Dolls for this opportunity. God Bless.
