Looking Towards the Future with our Man of the Month!
D.O.L.L.S: What dream are you currently pursuing?
Quintin: I am currently pursuing my Judicial Doctorate in Atlanta, GA.

D.O.L.L.S: What are the first steps you took to follow your dreams?
Quintin: The first thing I did was participate in a Mock Trial when I was in 8th grade. Haven't looked back since.

D.O.L.L.S: What are some roadblocks that you have come across?
Quintin: I had some things go wrong while applying to Law School. My Recommendation letters did not upload and I had sent off all my applications without them. Needless to say, they all came back declined for incompleteness. However, everything happens for a reason. I did some last minute applications correctly, and I ended up at John Marshall in Atlanta with a steady internship and some future Job

D.O.L.L.S: Who are some individuals in your field you admire and would like to work with in the future?
Quintin: Judge Hatchett.  She's a Juvenile Court Judge and she really has a passion for working with delinquent youth. I saw her speak and learned a lot about how to handle the stress on the body and mind when it comes to practicing law.

D.O.L.L.S: Is there anything that you’d like our readers to learn from you?

Quintin: Opportunity does not always come the way you want it or in a way that you recognize. Having the courage to take the opportunity leads to unexpected blessings.

D.O.L.L.S: What advice do you have for young men your age?
Quintin: Persevere. When one set of plans does not pan out the way you thought they would, begin a new set of plans to reach the same goal. Obstacles are made to be overcome.

D.O.L.L.S: At this point in your life, what makes you happiest?
Quintin: My family.

D.O.L.L.S: What motto do you live by?
Quintin: "I can show you, better than I can tell you."

D.O.L.L.S: How do you stay motivated to accomplish your goals?
Quintin: Prayer, Persistence, and the belief that failure is not for me.

D.O.L.L.S: What can we look forward to from you in the future?
Quintin: I want to become a Judge.  However I'm led to that point is yet to be determined.
