1. Write down your biggest dreams.
We often feel a lack of motivation because you're not clear on what it is you want in life. Take some time today to sit down and write out what it is you want. Write down you biggest and wildest dreams. This only will serve as a way to get excited about life and all of the possibilities that lie ahead of you.
2. Choose the dream you are most passionate about.
Rome wasn't built in a day! You may have several dreams that you want to accomplish, but remember that you are only one person. Take it one step at a time. This will only serve to help you to not overwhelm yourself by doing too much! Choose the dream that you want to focus on first and start there. All of your other dreams are already written down if you've followed step 1. There is no need to worry about those dreams being lost:-)
3. Write down long term and short term goals for your dream.
Set some goals towards your dreams. Make sure that you can measure your goals so that you can change or keep the same things that are or are not working. An example could be to go to 10 dance classes a month and 120 in a year.
4. Create check points to track your progress.
Track your goal by writing down when you did or did not do something that was necessary to meet your goal. An example would be to mark down how many dance classes you actually went to. This will help you to figure out what you may need to adjust in order to meet your goal(s).
5. Have Fun!
The most important step to staying motivated while pursuing your dream is to have fun! If you are not having fun then it's likely that you are pursuing the wrong dream. This may be the reason you're not motivate. Remember, if you are being true to your purpose you may not have fun all of the time, but the positives will always outweigh the negatives.
